Hi Everyone,

If you would like to make a difference, be entertained and help stop the violence against women and girls, please join me (I will be one of the presenters) for either the Friday evening or Sunday afternoon benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues in Bucks County, PA .

Created by Eve Ensler, these monologues (which are funny, poignant, moving and, at times, shocking) are part of a global movement to draw attention to and raise funds to end the violence against women.

Organized and directed by an extraordinary young woman, Chelsea Samo-Lipman, this production is based on stories shared by girls and women around the globe in their interviews with Eve Ensler. These are stories to which we, as women, can relate – with each monologue centered on subjects such as love, sex, rape, birth, orgasm, tampons, gynecological exams, and abuse.

Eve’s hope is that these stories will not only educate and entertain, but, also, lead to discussions of previously taboo topics and will help end the silence and the violence.

All proceeds are being donated to organizations (including Planned Parenthood and A Woman’s Place) which support women who have been abused and who seek to reclaim their lives.

When? Friday, April 17th at 7:45 pm and Sunday, April 19th at 3:00 pm.

This is not your typical theater experience. Indeed, it is so special that it is likely to deeply impress you with its truth, candor and humor. You will laugh, be touched and may even shed a tear or two. I find it difficult to get through my own piece without being moved to tears.

I hope to see you at one of our performances. Together, we can play a role in ending the terrible abuse of women.

Please, forward this note to those who you feel may be interested. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

With Blessings Of...

Warmth, Love and Light
